LSD, which stands for lysergic acid diethylamide, is a type of hallucinogenic drug that is manufactured from lysergic acid. This is a chemical derived from certain types of fungus. It is available as blotter paper, in tablet form, soaked into sugar cubes and made into gelatin squares. LSD has no proven, legitimate type of medical use, which means that all use is considered to be illicit.
